See Monkey Do Monkey started life in Ireland as a promotions company before relocating to their current home in the Welsh capital. The label have a firm belief in the community spirit of bands, musicians being there for each other and supporting each other.

The first release from the label was The Method’s LP ‘The Front’ in 2008, since that release four years ago the label has developed and is now the home to many exciting bands who have the potential to achieve a huge amount of success in the music industry.

The Method

A four piece from Cardiff who combine soul, post punk and ska to create an energetic mix of music that you will instantly fall in love with. This is a band that truly believe in what they are doing, sing and play like it is the end of the world. The Method are a band that will ensure you have a great time whilst listening to their music. This really is music that will knock you off your feet.

Houdini Dax

A young Cardiff based band who are currently creating a wave of excitement that has led to inclusion on many ‘ones to watch in 2012’ lists. Their live shows of 2011 resulted in one of those ‘I was there moments’. There is no doubt this band are going to be huge. For all those people who say that guitar music is dead then you need to listen to Houdini Dax and you will soon realise that guitar music is clearly on its way back.

The Keys

A band who AMP has been in love with from the start. Rising from the ashes of the great Murry The Hump,The Keys are one of those magical bands that you simply can’t live your life without. The release of ‘Bitten By Wolves’ in 2011 saw the band gain much deserved attention from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens and Mark Lamarr.

Colorama is based around the talents of multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Carwyn Ellis who has previously worked with Oasis and Edwyn Collins. Colorama create beautiful, dreamy pop music that you allows you to drift away into another world and forget everything that is going on around you.
