Bear Driver are a London based five piece who have taken influence from The Flaming Lips, Yo La Tengo, Sparklehorse and Death Cab For Cutie. The band started getting media attention following their performance at SXSW festival.
'Never Never' is the first single to be lifted from Bear Driver's debut album which is due for release early next year on Adventure Club Records. To sum this single up in one sentence I would say it is ‘the perfect soundtrack to a dream you never want to end’. 'Never Never' is a blissful dreamy pop song that grabs your attention as soon as you press play. The song then proceeds into lush melodies and soft vocals that work their way deep inside your soul. If 'Never Never' is anything to go by then this band have a very promising future lying in wait.
The debut album is due for release in January 2012 with a UK tour to be announced shortly. I for one will be taking some time out to see Bear Driver live in the new year.
