‘Red Face’ is the third single from an artist AMP Magazine is tipping for great success in 2012. ‘Red Face’ sees Lucy being backed for the first time by a full band. With her previous two singles Lucy has shown how talented she is with stripped back acoustics that allow her vocals to take centre stage. This time round the full band provide this very talented artist a more confident sound that will no doubt see her gain even more fans and praise amongst music critics. Even though the sound is bigger and bolder than ‘Middle Of The Bed’ and ‘Scar’, ‘Red Face’ still allows moments for the fragile and vulnerable vocal delivery to shine through.
With an album due later in the year and a number of festival appearances in the summer, there is no doubt in my mind that by the end of 2012 Lucy Rose will be an artist you all will love.
