Denuo are a Cardiff based band formed by welsh guitarist/singer Tom Mason. Tom is joined in the band by Sam Barnes and Harry Jones. Denuo began by Tom as a solo project in Tom’s home town of Penmaenmawr, North Wales. Tom relocated to Cardiff and played a number of gigs around the city building up a fanbase along the way. Denuo evolved into a full band in 2010 gaining media attention through both Huw Stevens and Adam Walton. They also supported Manic Street Preachers at their home coming gig in Blackwood at the start of the year.

Denuo have a self released EP that opens with ‘Wolf River’, an upbeat song that makes you want to go out for a drive with friends; ‘Alexa’ is a song which will make you stop dead in your tracks and melt your heart with the beautiful melody and vocals. ‘Nights Spent In Hotel Bars’ shows that Tom Mason is a great songwriter who knows how to put together songs that are a real pleasure to listen to. ‘I Don’t Miss November’ is built around a simple and effective melody and when combined with the soothing vocals and percussion you know this band are something very special. The EP comes to an end with ‘Water’ a piano led track which could be used as the end credits to a film.
